- Colorado has the most wins in the NL since September 1st. They are 20-9 since that date.
- The Rockies were 20-32 on June 3rd and still made it to the playoffs this season. The 2005 Houston Astros were the last team to be 12 games below .500 and make it to the playoffs. Before that, the Toronto Blue Jays accomplished the feat in 1989.
- Since June 4th, the Rockies are 72-36, best record in the NL since that date. The Rockies can become the first team to overcome a 15.5 game deficit and win the division if they sweep the Dodgers this weekend.
- Jim Tracy is the third manager to take over a team that was 10 games below .500 and lead them to 10 games above .500.
- Ubaldo Jimenez finished with the lowest ERA in team history. His 3.47 ERA was a few points better than Joe Kennedy’s 3.66 ERA.
